Dante and his team may be new to Waltham, but old pros in the Boston area. Dante started developing cooking skills in 1979 at home and soon after up and down the Adriatic coast. Over the years, his love and passion of travel and food grew, as he brought his own unique cooking style to his Italian recipes, incorporating all the flavors Abruzzo has to offer. In his travels Dante has met and cooked with 200+ chefs around the world sharing and learning culinary techniques which he’s incorporated into his own style.
In 1997 Dante was invited by Les Marino, to be his executive chef at Marino Restaurant in North Cambridge, MA. Dante’s culinary path took him briefly to the North End and in 2004 he opened Tartufo Restaurant in Newton Centre, where he was the executive chef / co-owner until 2019.
Dante and his team are excited to bring their skills to Waltham where they welcome old friends and invite new ones.

Our dishes feature classic as well as modern Italian favorites, all made from scratch, and sure to suit your palate. Domestic and imported wine selections to compliment food choices are also available for in-house and take out dining.
